Riesling 2002
This is the classic New York State white wine, dry with an apparent sweetness, caused by the fruitiness of the Riesling grape grown in our limestone soils. It has hints of melon and peach but has a flinty finish. Ideal with trout and swordfish,.traditional seafood dishes with rich sauces are enhanced by the crisp acidity of this wine.

White Deux Freres 2003
Another version of the famous dessert wines from Oporto Portugal is made from the Chardonnay grape, fortified with grape brandy. It has 10% residual sugar, but due to the acidity and flavor of the wine, sweetness is not the first thing one notices when tasting this wine. A great after dinner wine, with or even replacing dessert. It is also makes a fine apertif.

Traminette 2006
A product of the Geneva New York research stationís grape breeding program, the Traminette grapeís parentage includes the Gewurtztraminer grape from Alsace. The resulting hybrid is more winter hardy than the Gewurtztraminer parent. If Traminette is grown correctly with a lot of sun on the fruit, the wine made from it is indistinguishable from Gewurtztraminer with its spicy fruitiness. In the wine making process we hold this grape overnight (after crushing and destemming) before we press it. As a result the wine has a deep yellow color reminiscent of the grapeís skin color and has enhanced varietal characteristics. This wine is great alone and with seafood and chicken dishes. I especially like it with elaborate chef salads. Made with certified organically grown grapes.

Chardonnay 2004
Made from Chardonnay grapes grown on very old vines with the crop loads reduced to enhance flavor. It is our mission to bring you wines with as much flavor as possible and it is an expensive process. This wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks and bottled early to preserve its exceptional fruitiness and varietal flavor. It has 12% alcohol by volume and is not aged with oak. This produced an exceptionally drinkable new wine which will only get better with age. We think this wine is exceptionally good with seafood and vegetarian dishes. It is also one of those wines which go will with itself!

Chardonnay 2005 Vintner's Reserve
This 2005 Chardonnay has gone on to oak aging, adding more complexity to the base wine. This wine will also be more of a food accompaniment than a sipping wine. We expect this wine to be released in the spring of 2008.

Chardonnay 2000 Vintner's Reserve
This mature and exciting Chardonnay wine was made from grapes from the same vineyard and with the same cultural practices as our 2004 Chardonnay wines. However, this wine was fermented and aged in small French oak barrels. Tasting this wine will allow you to see the potential of the 2004 vintage! This wine was made to be aged and is now in its prime. We drank this wine with a spicy peasant soup and it enhanced our enjoyment of the meal immensely. The wine changed characteristics as the meal went on, adding greatly to our enjoyment. We recommend this wine with spicy vegetarian dishes, seafood, or chicken. Also, this wine would go famously with traditional French dishes and their rich sauces.
