Cabernet Franc 2002

Made from the famed Bordeaux red varietal, this oak aged wine is dry with good tannic structure and the cherry and chocolate flavors associated with the Cabernet Franc grape. This robust red wine was made with food in mind and is especially good with venison, beef and lamb. This wine is not overpowered by strongly flavored foods or dishes with rich sauces. So, use as much garlic as you want with your pot roast!

Cynthia

A very fruity dry wine made from the Cynthiana (aka Norton) grape, a native to North America. It has nice acid which balances the fruit flavors of the wine. It has soft tannins and has been aged with oak. This wine is very dark in color and is great with grilled meats, Mexican and Italian foods. Cynthia is also a great wine just for sipping after a hard day at work.

Merlot Vintner's Reserve 1999

A blend of 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc, this truly spectacular wine was aged in small French oak barrels and is bottled for the ages. The heavier than normal bottle and the extremely high quality long cork were used so that this wine can be aged for 10 to 15 more years. Savor this Merlot with a spicy roasted pork loin or filet mignon. Although the wine is in its youth, it is marvelous with all kinds of strongly flavored foods and cannot be overpowered. Since it is still a young wine it should be opened 30 to 45 minutes before drinking.

Les Deux Freres

Our version of the famous dessert wines from Oporto Portugal is made from the Norton grape, fortified with grape brandy, and aged with oak. It has 10% residual sugar, but due to the acidity and flavor of the wine, sweetness is not the first thing one notices when tasting this wine. A great after dinner wine, with or even replacing dessert. It is also makes a fine apertif.
